Me Sébastien Gagnon, a graduate of Université Laval in 2000 and admitted to the Quebec Bar the same year, has been practicing criminal, penal, and administrative law for nearly two decades.
In 2001, Me Gagnon began his career as a Crown prosecutor in Gatineau, specializing primarily in cases of impaired driving, sexual assault, as well as theft and fraud. He was later appointed head of the penal sector, where he deepened his expertise in the field of traffic tickets.
Building on the experience he gained as a Crown prosecutor, Me Gagnon joined the Leblanc Donaldson team in 2006 as a defense attorney, handling criminal, penal, and administrative cases. In 2015, Me Gagnon co-founded CSG Avocats alongside Me Paul Charlebois and Me Michel Swanston, which has since become the largest criminal law firm in the Outaouais region.
Recognized for his skills as a skilled and dedicated litigator, Me Gagnon represents his clients before the Municipal Court, the Quebec Court, on appeal to the Superior Court, as well as before various administrative bodies. Although he handles all types of criminal cases, he is particularly distinguished in cases of impaired driving, dangerous driving, sexual assault, assault, theft, and fraud.
In parallel with his criminal law practice, Me Gagnon has developed notable expertise in handling traffic tickets of all kinds. Whether it involves cases under the Highway Safety Code, the Quebec Construction Commission (CCQ), the Quebec Building Authority (RBQ), the Ministry of Revenue, or the Financial Markets Authority, Me Gagnon meets his clients' expectations with rigor and professionalism.
Coming from a family active in the construction, transportation, and restaurant sectors, Me Gagnon also offers his representation services before the Quebec Transport Commission, the Alcohol, Racing and Gaming Authority, as well as other administrative bodies.
